For those who want a special sound to be played follow this instructions:
1.- Create a folder somewhere on your computer (create it on your desktop for easy access).
2.-On the link below click on it using the right button of your mouse.
http://guildwarsholland.nl/drunkard_timer.php
3.- Choose the option that says "Save link as" or alike(depends upon your browser).
4.- On the Save File Dialog open the folder you created on Step 1,
erase all the text that appears on the box: File Name and write: "timer.html" (WITH the quotation marks), change the "Save as type " box from "php" to "All files" and press Save.
From here you can either:
a) Download a beep noise (MUST BE .WAV FILE), rename it to "beep" (without the quotation marks) place it on the same folder as the timer file.
After this just double click the timer file and it is done.
or
b) Continue with these steps to use whatever file (.mp3,.wav,etc..) you want.
5.- Open Notepad and press CTRL + O (this means keep pressing ctrl when pressing the letter O otherwise find the Open menu), go to the folder where the file from Step 4 is and open it. NOTE: In order to see the file you must change the select box that says "Text Documents (.txt)" to "All files (*.*)".
6.- Press CTRL + H (Or find the "Find and replace" function) and on the first box write: "beep.wav" (without quotation marks) and on the second box the name of the file that you want to play. (Ie. boing.mp3 , EXPLoDE.wav , OMG.wav). Press the "Replace All" button and Save the file (shortcut CTRL + S otherwise find the Save menu). NOTE: You must write the name of you music file exactly as it is on the file with its format (.mp3, .wav, etc...), and it must be on the same folder as the timer file.
7.- Go to the folder where the "timer" file is placed and double click it to open it.
I hope this useful.
Also, I would like express my gratitude to Smurf Minions for sharing this with the community.

Due to the exact precision that this allows, how does Anet distinct between an Autoclicker and this?
PS - Thank you for this program, it helped me get an hour and I plan on using it more to get to R2.

Mostly because you're probably doing other things while this is going, and you're never going to click at exactly the same time

I love this thing. I put stacks of 3 1 minute alcohols in my storage and watch movies while clicking on the stacks of 3 every 3 minutes. Separating them into 3's helps make sure you don't over/underuse alcohol and let's you spam the click to get back to whatever you're doing.
Still.. I wish there were a better way.

I am a Linux user, and 4 browsers I have complain about some plugins to play the file, so I wrote a simple shell script similar to Smurf Minions' PHP code. I also used his beep sound, hope you don't mind Smurf
Don't judge its simplicity, it works for me quite nicely. Execute the script with ./drunkard_timer.sh from any terminal window, answer the question and bottoms up!
Cheers, and give your suggestions to me so I can improve it.
:edit:
added reworked script.

hmm... I don't think it was a good idea to beep at every 55 seconds. I understand you wanted to make beep go 5 seconds earlier, but this way, it will go 5 more seconds earlier every minute (so you will loose 10, 15, 20 sec etc) and you'll waste your drinks
You should make the first beep after 55 seconds, then each following after 60 seconds.. and similar logic to 3 min drinks (175 first, 180 each following)

Hey, nice job on it, using it a bit
Btw is their anyway to view php?
Touching a small corner of it in a college course would just be cool to see how one would do this.
would the sound part ever be something like
IF ($time == 118)
{
command for playing sound
}
?
unless coders normally keep it secret, new enough so don't really know.

I hope no one is stupid enough to click that link... and that anyone who already has immediately scans their system for keyloggers & trojans.
That person joined today and is bumping old drunkard posts... no way that's legit.

The post TheGizzy was referring to has since been removed. It wasn't in reference to this thread but to a different user advertising a link to a Drunkard Bot/Auto Clicker.
